実は簡単に知ることができる基準があります。
それが「水泳資格級」。

【水泳資格級】とは
水泳資格級は、日本水泳連盟が制定している全国統一の泳力評価基準。
年齢・男女それぞれに、種目・距離ごとのタイムと級を定めています。
最も速いのは19歳以上の水泳資格級15級。そのレベルは世界記録に近いタイムです。
分類の見方
資格級表は数字の左側に、B・A・AAという大分類級があります。
これは大まかなレベルを表すもの。
資格級1級未満の選手をまとめてC級という場合もあります。
各アルファベット級は、以下のようなイメージです。
C級:競泳初心者レベル
B級:非公認大会・地域大会レベル
A級:公認大会・全国予選会レベル
AA級:全国大会・国際大会レベル
